Popular airlines in Nigeria and their owners
The Nigerian regulation requires local airlines to be predominantly owned and controlled by Nigerian citizens. Under the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority regulations (NCARs Part 18), an airline applying for an operating permit must establish that it is owned and controlled explicitly by Nigerian citizens.
Aero Contractors
Aero Contractors was founded in 1959 by Schreiner Airways B.V of the Netherlands. It is a commercial airline that operates scheduled passenger flights such as Lagos to Abuja, Asaba to Abuja, Calabar to Lagos, Yola to Abuja, and Port Harcourt to Lagos, among other domestic flights.
